Shuffleboard, with roots reaching back to Medieval England and institutionalized in Florida in the 20th century, is a game of both skill and strategy. How to Play Shuffleboard
Shuffleboard requires players to slide coloured discs along the court into a target area which rewards good shots with different levels of points. However, your opponent will be trying to block your discs or even shoot them out of the way to prevent you from scoring, so your game plan must encompass both offensive and defensive strategies.
Most courts offer the facility to play from both ends, and the player or team either with most points after a pre-agreed number of “ends” or reaching a pre-defined number of points wins the game. Players can compete individually or in teams of two players.
